CleanSpace — Effective date: 14 July 2026 · Last updated: 14 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Animi-soft (“we”, “us”, or “our”), the developer of the CleanSpace mobile application (the “App”), handles information in connection with your use of the App. CleanSpace is built to be private by design: it cleans and organizes your device’s storage entirely on your device. We do not run user accounts, and we do not collect, upload, sell, or share your photos, videos, files, or contacts. By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Our Privacy Principle
CleanSpace follows a simple principle: your content stays on your device. All scanning, analysis, duplicate detection, similarity matching, and organization happen locally using Apple’s own on-device frameworks. Your photos, videos, and files are never sent to us or to any third-party server for processing. We designed the App so that we never need — and never receive — your personal content.
2. Scope of This Policy
This Policy applies to the CleanSpace App for iOS and to the legal and update pages the App loads from our servers. It does not apply to Apple’s services (such as the App Store, your Apple Account, and in-app purchases), which are governed by Apple’s own privacy policy, or to any third-party website or service you may reach from outside the App.
3. Summary — What the App Does and Does Not Do
- Does analyze your photos, videos, files, and contacts on your device to find duplicates, similar or blurry photos, large or repeated videos, old screenshots, and duplicate contacts.
- Does not upload, copy, or transmit your photos, videos, files, or contacts to us or to anyone else.
- Does not require an account, a login, an email address, or any registration.
- Does not include advertising, ad networks, or third-party tracking or analytics SDKs.
- Does not receive or store your payment card details — all purchases are handled by Apple.
4. On-Device Processing of Your Photos, Videos, and Files
When you scan your library, the App reads your photos, videos, and files locally to compute the information it needs (for example, sizes, dates, and visual “fingerprints” used to group duplicate or similar items). This processing runs on your device using Apple’s Photos and Vision frameworks. The results — the groups and suggestions you see — are held only on your device and are used solely to let you review and clean your storage. We do not see these results.
5. Access to Your Photo Library
To find and remove duplicate, similar, blurry, large, or old media, the App requests permission to access your photo library through Apple’s PhotoKit. This access is used only on your device to display and manage your media within the App. When you choose to delete items, the App moves them to the system “Recently Deleted” album, from which iOS permanently removes them after about 30 days. You can grant, limit, or revoke photo access at any time in the iOS Settings app.
6. Access to Your Contacts
If you use the duplicate-contacts feature, the App requests permission to access your contacts solely to detect and help you merge or remove duplicates on your device. Your contacts are not uploaded, copied off the device, or shared. You can revoke contacts access at any time in the iOS Settings app; the rest of the App continues to work without it.
7. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, photos, videos, files, contacts, or the contents of your library. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not track you across apps or websites. Because the App has no account system and no analytics SDK, there is no personal profile associated with your use of the App on our side.
8. Limited Network Requests
The App makes a small number of outbound network requests that do not include your personal content:
- Legal documents. The App loads this Privacy Policy and the Terms & Conditions in your chosen language from our servers (cleaningspace.app / admin.cleaningspace.app).
- Update checks. The App may check whether a newer version is available by requesting a small configuration file from our servers and by querying Apple’s public iTunes lookup service using the App’s bundle identifier.
Like any internet request, these are received by the hosting server together with standard technical information such as your IP address, device type, and preferred language. This information is used only to deliver the requested page or file and for basic security and reliability; it is not used to identify you or combined with your content. These requests never include your photos, videos, files, or contacts.
9. Purchases and Subscriptions
CleanSpace Pro is offered through Apple’s in-app purchase system as auto-renewable subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase. All payments are processed by Apple through your Apple Account. We never receive or store your payment card number or billing details. To manage entitlements, the App uses Apple’s StoreKit on your device to confirm whether you have an active purchase; this happens between your device and Apple. Apple’s handling of your purchase information is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
10. Information Stored on Your Device
The App stores certain data locally on your device to function, including your settings and language preference, your in-app favorites, records that support the one-time free cleaning allowance, and any items you place in the in-app vault. This data lives on your device (in the App’s storage and, where appropriate, the device Keychain). It is not transmitted to us. Deleting the App removes its on-device data from your device.
11. The Encrypted Vault
If you use the vault to keep selected photos or videos private, those items and your vault passcode settings are stored and encrypted on your device. We do not have access to your vault, your passcode, or its contents, and we cannot recover them for you. Please keep your passcode safe: depending on your settings, resetting a forgotten passcode may permanently remove the vault’s contents.
12. Permissions and How to Manage Them
The App asks only for the permissions it needs for the features you use — primarily access to Photos, and optionally Contacts. You may grant, limit, or withdraw any permission at any time through the iOS Settings app under the App’s entry. Withdrawing a permission disables the related feature but does not otherwise prevent you from using the rest of the App.
13. Data Security
Because your content is processed and stored on your device, its security is protected by iOS and by your device’s own protections (such as your passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID), together with the App’s local encryption for the vault. Our servers store only the published legal documents and update configuration, not your personal content. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but keeping your content on-device by design meaningfully reduces exposure.
14. Data Retention and Deletion
We do not retain your personal content because we never receive it. Data the App creates stays on your device until you delete it, remove the relevant items, or uninstall the App. Media you delete through the App is moved to the system “Recently Deleted” album and is removed by iOS after about 30 days. Server logs associated with the limited requests above are kept only for a short period for security and reliability, and are not linked to your content.
15. Children’s Privacy
The App is a general-purpose storage utility and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the App does not collect personal information from any user, it does not create profiles of children. If you believe a child has used the App in a way that concerns you, please contact us.
16. International Users
The App is operated from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and is available in many countries. Because your content is processed on your device, using the App does not transfer your personal content across borders. The limited requests described above are served by our hosting infrastructure. By using the App, you understand that the App’s legal and update pages are delivered from our servers.
17. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, or to object to it. Because we do not collect or hold your personal content, most of your data is already under your direct control on your device — you can view, edit, and delete it there at any time. If you have a request or question about your rights in relation to the App, contact us using the details below and we will respond as required by applicable law.
18. Third-Party Services
The App relies on Apple for distribution (the App Store), payments (in-app purchases and subscriptions), and its on-device frameworks. Your interactions with Apple are governed by Apple’s terms and privacy policy. The App does not integrate advertising networks, social-media trackers, or third-party analytics providers.
19. Do Not Track and No Sale of Data
We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell or rent personal information — indeed, we do not collect it. The App does not respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals because it does not perform the kind of cross-site tracking those signals address.
20. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version with a new “Last updated” date on this page. Because the App loads this page from our servers, you will see the current version within the App. Your continued use of the App after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Policy.
